Large Wood Percussion Frog, 5" long These are the original Rribit frogs from Thailand. They are made from Monkey Pod wood, which produces the best frog croaking sound you will ever hear from a wooden frog. To play it set it in your palm with the front of the frog facing away from you and run the thicker end of the stick over the ridges up the back of the frog from the rear to the front. You can change the sound by covering and uncovering the holes by his mouth. You can also use the holes to store the stick when not in use. Anyone can play it the first time they pick it up. Extra Large Sarongs are worn in a variety of ways. Suitable for plus size, they can also be used for tying as a sarong dress. The sarongs (also known as Pareos) we bring you come from Bali. We travel there annually to pick out the finest ones to add to our selection. They are made from fast drying, breathable rayon and measure approximately 76" x 46" plus the fringe, or 25% longer than a regular sarong. They wash easily by hand or machine. Hang to dry. Wash separately the first time or two.

Most of these beautiful designs are done by batik, applying wax to the fabric to resist the dye. The wax is then removed revealing the design. All are made from fast drying, breathable rayon and measure approximately 66" x 46", not including the fringe. They wash easily by hand or machine. Hang to dry. Wash separately the first time or two.

About our Batiks from China:
These batik wall hangings are individually produced by some of China's pre-eminent batik artists from Yunan province. Each one is a work of art. We are proud to add these to our line of hand-made products. Batiks are produced by applying wax to the fabric in the areas that are to remain undyed. When the fabric is inserted into the dye, the dye takes to the unwaxed areas. Often a brittle wax is used which cracks during the dying process allowing the dye in, resulting in the characteristic thin lines.
These batiks can be a beautiful addition to any home!
